In 2000 and 2001, Equinox worked with astrologers, Peter Watson and Debbie Frank to create and promote a special Daily Mail Personal Horoscope for readers of the Daily Mail. Peter Watson is well-known as writing partner to the legendary astrologer, Patric Walker and Debbie Frank, is famous for her work as personal astrologer to Diana, Princess of Wales.
This Daily Mail Personal Horoscope reader offer was exclusive to the Daily Mail and sponsored by Associated Newspapers. Readers cut out and collected a series of coupons printed in the Daily Mail and the Mail on Saturday. The offer did not include the Mail on Sunday.
Essentially the package was an Equinox Year Forecast written by Robert Currey with a few adaptations for each reader offer. The charts were compiled by GWC in Swindon using software and text written by Robert Currey and Karen Chiarello from Equinox in the Isle of Man.
Despite an enormous response to the reader offer, the offer has not been repeated in 2002. Last year, Equinox were able to provide back-up support for charts for an astrology teaching series in the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine, featuring Derek and Julia Parker's Complete Astrologer.
